History
Our church heritage began with the establishment of a Sunday School class in the home of Miss Mary McDonald. From this small beginning evolved the establishment of the Clayton Street Baptist Church in 1891. For seven decades, the people worshipped and served at this location. The church became a great influence and well known throughout the state.
The decade of the '60s brought rapid change to the area around the church and the people voted to relocate to the present site. The church was constituted at Heritage Baptist Church on October 3, 1970. Our church's membership continues to grow in numbers and in ministries.
