Welcome to Zoe Women's Ministry at Heritage!
Zoe is the Greek word for life found in John 10:10 and John 14:6. God desires for us to live Zoe - a full and abundant life found only in relationship with God through Jesus Christ empowered by the Holy Spirit. Jesus describes himself as Zoe, the Life. As Heritage women, we want to live out the fullness of Zoe in our daily lives through prayer, Bible study, ministry, missions and fellowship. Contact Jennifer Foster if you have any questions.
Bible Studies for Women:
Sunday Mornings at 9am
We have two ladies morning Bible study classes: Sister Sharpeners and Joyful Servants.
Sunday Evenings at 5-6:15pm
This fall all of our ladies will study Kingdom Woman by Tony Evans and Chrystal Evans Hurst during Greenhouse Together in the Oasis. Learn to embrace your purpose, power and possibility as a Kingdom Woman. Facilitated by a multi-generational team of Heritage women. Learn more about Kingdom Woman here.
Wednesday Evenings at 6:15pm
Each Wednesday Heritage women gather for fellowship and encouragement. From craft nights, movie nights and mission projects, these ladies overflow with love for God, for each other and for the River Region. Join them for a new Bible study beginning on February 11 at 6:15pm in Room 107. They will be learning to LIVE SENT by building bridgepoints in our community and our world. A workbook is available. See Jennifer Foster or Anissa Bonosky for more information.
Tuesday Mornings at 9:30am
Each Tuesday morning from 9:30-10:30 in the fall and spring in Room 115, Heritage ladies gather to study God's Word and to fellowship with each other. We generally participate in short studies that are guided by DVD teaching and small group discussion. The workbooks are available for each session for a small fee. Scholarships can be provided based on need. Our current study is Children of the Day by Beth Moore.
Join Janet Holmes, Heritage ladies and Beth Moore as we walk the shores of Thessalonica with this verse-by-verse study of 1st and 2nd Thessalonians each Tuesday this spring. Learn how to let go of past mistakes and discover that God’s timing in your life is perfect. Children of the Day workbook will be available for purchase. Classes begin on February 10. See Janet Holmes or Jennifer Foster for more information.
Surrendering the Secret
Millions of American women suffer the guilt and pain of a past abortion. Many of those women are in the church. Surrendering the Secret is a post-abortion recovery group designed to encourage women as they move from pain to healing in their relationship with God, themselves and others. Dot Robinson is facilitating this new women's ministry. For more information, contact Dot at 334.328.8715. You can learn more about Surrendering the Secret at surrenderingthesecret.com.
