EMBRACE

EMBRACE is an initiative by the International Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention for each church to EMBRACE (or adopt) an unreached, unengaged people group. A people group is a group of people who share a common language and sense of ethnic identity. There are approximately 11,600 people groups in the world and nearly 6,800 are unreached, meaning that fewer than 2% of the population are evangelical followers of Jesus. Approximately 3,800 of the 6,800 are unreached and unengaged. This means that no church or Christian group is actively seeking to start a church planting strategy among them. More than likely, they have never heard the name of Jesus. Can you imagine that?

Our church has begun the process of seeking God in guiding us to an unreached, unengaged people group to EMBRACE. Will you join us?

Pray, Pray, Pray!
We believe that God will guide our congregation to an area of the world and then an Affinity Group.
Our search will continue to narrow to a country and then an unreached, unengaged people group.
