Discipleship
The Discipleship Ministry at Heritage is about connecting people to others and opportunities that will help them become more like Christ. The connection happens each week through Sunday School and Greenhouse as well as other times during the year through conferences, retreats and other special events. The Men’s Ministry, Women’s Ministry and Singles Ministry are also committed to meeting the specific needs of adults throughout the year. We believe that the pursuit of every believer must be to become more like Christ in character and conduct and we know that when adults become more like Christ, their marriages, homes and relationships with others will reflect that.
Sunday School happens one hour each Sunday morning and is a time of Bible Study and fellowship. It is a beginning point for any adult to connect to the life of the church by meeting other adults in the class and building relationships with them. A variety of classes are offered to meet the age or needs of any adult or couple.
Greenhouse is an opportunity for adults to Learn, Plant, Grow in their faith through Bible Study groups. These groups meet for a series of weeks throughout the year. They are designed for those adults who desire to make an investment in group time and personal Bible study. Join us for Greenhouse starting September 11, 2011.
